It’s here! Both winter *brrrrr* and the Stellar Snowflake Scarf pattern! Wrap up warm in this super oversized crochet scarf with tassel edging and hexagon snowflake design.
Imagine it on a frosty morning walk with a bright winter coat, wrapped as a shawl over a chunky knit or… how perfect would it be over a black dress/jumper dress for a festive Christmas outfit?!
It’s named after the Stellar Dendrite snowflake, the beautiful snow crystals that have six symmetrical branches. The word dendrite means ‘tree-like’ and inspired the intricate design for each flake.
Once you’ve made a few of the hexagons you’ll find it works up quickly, and the variety amongst the hexagons and half hexagons keeps things interesting. I love taking projects made up from squares and hexagons on trips as they’re nice and portable. Then when you get home you have a stack of hexagons ready to sew together!
